Chester Races - May festival

The second day of the May Festival sees the fashion stakes rising amongst the ladies on Ladies' Day, as hundreds more racegoers flock to watch more superb racing.

First off are runners in the Group 3 Huxley Stakes, the highest level of race seen at Chester.

The third race on the card is the MBNA Europe Bank Chester Vase, generally acknowledged as an Epsom Derby trial. Shergar is the most famous horse to have won the Chester Vase - and then he went on to win the Derby. Book online now, alternatively contact our sales team on 0844 993 4567.
