Liverpool FC were founded in 1982. Liverpool are the most successful club in the history of English football. They have won a record 18 English League titles, even though the last time they won it was in 1990. Liverpool have won five European Cups which only A.C. Milan and Real Madrid have won more. They have won the FA Cup and League Cup seven times as well. They are also one of five teams to have been awarded the prestigious UEFA Badge of Honour, which they were awarded in 2005 after their fifth UEFA Champions League victory.
The Hawthorns is an all-seater football stadium in West Bromwich, England, with a capacity of 28,003.
The club had their first major success in 1955, when they won the league championship. Chelsea won several cup competitions during the 1960s and 1970s, but after that did not win another major title until 1997. The past decade has been the most successful period in Chelsea’s history, capped by winning Premier League titles in 2005, 2006 and 2010, the latter as part of their first league and FA Cup "Double". Despite their name, the club is not based in Chelsea, but in neighbouring Fulham. The club's home is the 42,449 capacity Stamford Bridge football stadium in Fulham, where they have played since their establishment. Since 2003 they have been owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Transport

The stadium is served by The Hawthorns station, which is both a railway station and Midland Metro (tram) stop. The station is approximately 400 metres from the ground.

Bus routes 74 and 79 pass the stadium along the Birmingham Road, with services running between Birmingham and Dudley/Wolverhampton. The 450 bus stops on Halfords Lane but is rerouted approximately 1 hour before kick off as police close Halfords Lane.
