Aston Villa Fc were founded in 1874. Villa currently hold the record number of league goals scored by any team in the English top-flight; 128 goals were scored in the 1930–31 season. Villa legend Archie Hunter became the first player to score in every round of the FA Cup in Villa's victorious 1887 campaign. Villa's longest unbeaten home run in the FA Cup spanned 13 years and 19 games, from 1888 to 1901.

Manchester city were founded in 1880 as St. Marks, they then became Ardwick A.F.C and in 1887 they changed there name to Manchester city. Man city have won the League Championship twice, the FA Cup four times, the League Cup twice and the European Cup Winners Cup once. The club's most successful time was during the late 1960s and early 1970s, when they won several major trophies. However, the club has not won a major honour since 1976. They have three nicknames which are The Citizens, The Blues and City.
The City of Manchester Stadium (also known as COMS or Eastlands) is a sports venue in Manchester, England. Originally designed as part of Manchester's failed bid for the 2000 Summer Olympics, the stadium was built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games at a cost of £110 million. After the Games, it was converted for use as a football ground, and became the home of Manchester City F.C. who moved there from Maine Road in 2003, signing a 250-year lease.[2]

The stadium is bowl-shaped, with two tiers all the way around the ground and a third tier along the two side stands.
